Thomas McCormick (University of British Columnbia)<\/p>\n<p>\u984c\u76ee: Weighted Abstract Flow: Structure and Algorithms<br \/>\n(joint work with Maren Martens, Jannik Matuschke, and Britta Peis)<\/p>\n<p>Abstract:<br \/>\nIn 1974 Alan Hoffman proposed an abstract model generalizing max<br \/>\nflow\/min cut, and min-cost flow.  We call his model Weighted Abstract<br \/>\nFlow (WAF).  Hoffman left as an open problem whether there is a<br \/>\ncombinatorial algorithm for WAF.  In a 2008 IPCO paper, Marens and<br \/>\nMcCormick proposed such an algorithm, but many details were incomplete.<br \/>\n We recently filled in all those details, and we present some of them<br \/>\nhere.
