Biography

Taihei Oki (pronounced as “tie-hey ohki”) is a specially appointed associate professor at Hokkaido University and The University of Osaka (cross-appointment). He researches combinatorial optimization, especially on matroids and submodular functions, and numerical methods. He is also interested in their applications to scientific computing.
