Near separable NMF for Raman spectroscopy data
講演概要:
Raman spectroscopy is a versatile tool to probe molecular structure
changes that are associated with the temporal evolution of chemical or
physical processes. The key challenge of in the interpretation of
time-resolved Raman spectroscopy is the identification of the
constituent species and the analysis of the kinetics of the underlying
reaction network. Surprisingly, both the species and the kinetics can
be approximated using techniques from near-separable nonnegative
matrix factorization (NMF). In contrast to the general NMF problem,
which is NP hard, this special case can be solved efficiently. In
this talk we discuss the implication of separability condition for
Raman spectroscopic data and discuss suitable NMF algorithms.
