講演題目: Matrix Product States and (some of) their applications
講演概要:
Matrix Product States are special vectors in a huge tensor product
Hilbert space that permit to approximate ground states of local
Hamiltonians, i.e. lowest energy eigenvectors of the linear operator
describing the energy of a quantum system. In this talk, we will
discuss some key aspects of Matrix Product States, sketch their use as
a variational tool (in DMRG) and explain how they can be used in the
classification of topological quantum systems.
